River Falls Youth Softball

River Falls Youth Softball Organization (RFYSO) is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 to offer girls in the River Falls community an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of fast-pitch softball in a fun and safe environment. RFYSO consists of volunteer board members that oversee the following programs: Little Sluggers for 6 to 9 year olds, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U Tri County Traveling teams.

2024 Little Sluggers Registration

  • Registration for our summer 2024 Little Sluggers beginner program opens 3/25! Click HERE for more details and to register

Important Upcoming Dates!

  • Sunday, April 7 - Mandatory Coach/Parent Clinic: More details (time/location) to come in the near future. Please ensure at least one parent attends this meeting.
    • Volunteer checks must be turned in at this meeting
    • Please bring a check made out to River Falls Youth Softball Organization for $250 (one check per family)
    • Families are required to complete 10 volunteer hours for the 2024 season (October 2023 - September 2024)
    • Volunteer checks will be held until September 2024 and will only be deposited for families that do not meet the 10 hour requirement

  • Saturday, May 4 - RFYSO Picture Day: Picture sessions will be scheduled by team from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. More details to follow closer to the date (make-up date on May 7)
  • Saturday, May 4 - RFYSO Meat Raffle Fundraiser at Jonesy's Local in Hudson: More details and volunteer opportunities will be distributed closer to the event (2:00 p.m. start)
  • Friday, May 17 - Sunday, May 19 - 4th Annual Wildcat Walk-off Tournament: All RFYSO 10U and 12U teams will play in this event, which will take place at Hoffman Park and First National Bank of RF Field. We will need ample volunteer support from all families and will be posting times/shifts on DIBS in the near future. This is a great opportunity for non 10U-12U families to get some of your hours completed early in the season.
  • Saturday, June 1 - RFYSO Concessions Night at the Fighting Fish Game (7:00 p.m. start vs. St. Paul Mudhens): Volunteer opportunities will be posted in DIBS closer to the event. We hope to see a lot of our players in the stands enjoying the game that night!
  • ADVANCED NOTICE - Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 - 2024-2025 Season Player Evaluations: Full details to come much closer to the evaluations/tryouts - but please mark these dates on your calendars!

2023 Youth Softball Fundraiser

River Falls Youth Softball will be running the 50/50 Raffle at Johnnies on Friday evenings and we need your support! It's a great way to raise money for the association and help keep our fees down. We also use this money to purchase new gear and equipment and for field maintenance.
